Technician for startup of new production line

Do you want to work with advanced technology in a high-tech production environment?

We are looking for several optical technicians who want to help build and develop a new production line. This role is suitable for you if you are motivated by working in a changing environment where processes, working methods, and flows are still being shaped and developed. Mycronic develops, designs, and assembles advanced machines and is a world leader in its technology field.

Optical assembly involves extensive cleaning and washing steps to ensure that components and materials meet the high cleanliness requirements. It is therefore important to understand why these steps are crucial for the product's quality.

The work involves assembling sensitive and high-precision components where tolerances are often very small. The role therefore requires a gentle touch, good fine motor skills, and the ability to work with great precision over longer periods.

The position is full-time, and working hours are during the day, Monday to Friday.

For this role, great emphasis is placed on accuracy, precision, and understanding the importance of cleanliness in the assembly process. The work places high demands on quality and detail focus, as even minor deviations can affect the final product's function and performance.

To succeed in the role, we would like you to have:

• Very accurate and quality-conscious
• Patient and methodical in your approach to work
• Strong sense of responsibility to follow instructions and processes
• Good concentration skills, even during repetitive tasks
• Understand the importance of order, cleanliness, and structure
• Good communication and teamwork skills

For this position, you must be able to speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English.

The person we are looking for has at least a high school education. Post-secondary education in a relevant field is considered a great plus.

Previous experience in fine mechanical assembly, quality work, or work in a clean environment is advantageous. The right attitude, accuracy, and willingness to learn are just as important for succeeding in the role.
